The spread of invasive species in the Baltic Sea

Invasive species may spread through many different vectors, such as leisure boats. Leisure boating may especially contribute to the secondary spread of species in the Baltic Sea, due to the fact that small vessels may visit areas unreachable by commercial shipping, such as national parks in the archipelago. This animation was created by the Complete Plus project to bring the issue to the attention of leisure boaters, in order to provide guidance for boaters to prevent the spread of invasive species in the Baltic Sea. We wanted to make the animation interesting by creating an overly dramatic plot to highlight the topic, hoping that everyone who sees it will also remember it.
